Terms and Conditions

This document regulates the use and hiring of services offered on the digital platform BusMachupicchuTicket, owned by the company Machupicchu Terra S.R.L., registered with the Ministry of Culture of Peru under code MA0473.
By purchasing bus tickets for the transfer between Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) and the Machu Picchu citadel through this website, the Client expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legal and binding agreement.
1 Generalities
BusMachupicchuTicket is an online platform specialized in the sale of bus tickets for the tourist transfer between Machu Picchu Pueblo and the Machu Picchu citadel. The buses for this service are operated by duly authorized tourist transport companies.
Machupicchu Terra S.R.L. is the only entity authorized to modify or update these Terms and Conditions, as well as the services offered on this website.
2 Contract Actors
- BusMachupicchuTicket: Digital platform for bus ticket sales, operated by Machupicchu Terra S.R.L.
- Client: Natural or legal person who purchases one or more bus tickets through this website.
3 Purchase and Reservation Process
- The Client can make the purchase from any country in the world, acting as an intermediary for the tickets.
- To confirm the purchase, it is essential to have a valid email address, to which the reservation confirmation, payment receipt, and digital tickets will be sent.
- The reservation form must be completed with truthful data and must match a valid official identification document (DNI, passport, immigration card, etc.).
- The reservation is confirmed once the full payment (100%) for the ticket has been received.
- The Client must present themselves on the day of the service with the digital ticket and the corresponding identification document.
4 Service Terms
- BusMachupicchuTicket exclusively offers bus tickets for the direct tourist transfer between Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) and the Machu Picchu citadel.
- The bus service is operated by companies authorized for such purposes; any operational incidents (delays, cancellations due to weather conditions, etc.) are the responsibility of these companies.
- The intermediary company is not responsible for operational changes in routes, stops, schedules, or other factors outside its control.
5 Personal Data Protection Policy
In accordance with Law No. 29733 – Personal Data Protection Law of Peru, the data provided by the Client will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for the execution of the contracted service. Machupicchu Terra S.R.L. may share the data with third parties only when strictly necessary to guarantee the provision of the service.
The Client may request the rectification, cancellation, or opposition to the processing of their personal data by contacting the official communication channels provided in this document.
6 Changes and Modifications
- The Client can request changes to the bus ticket date up to 72 hours (3 days) in advance of the scheduled travel date.
- Changes must be requested in writing to the official contact email: info@machupicchuterra.com.
- In case of a date change, the Client accepts a penalty of 10% of the total ticket price.
- Changes are subject to the operational availability of the bus service associated with the ticket.
7 Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to the official email info@machupicchuterra.com with no less than 72 hours (3 days) in advance of the scheduled travel date.
- When the cancellation is made within the established time frame, a penalty of 25% of the ticket value will apply. The Client will receive the remaining 75%.
- No last-minute cancellations or No Shows will be accepted.
- The refund will be processed within a maximum of 48 hours before the service date, using the same payment method used by the Client.
- The time it takes for the refund to be credited to the Client’s account will depend on the payment gateway and may take up to 30 calendar days according to the policies of the issuing bank.
8 Payment Terms
The user agrees to:
- The prices for bus tickets are published on the website and are updated at the time of purchase.
- The payment must be made in full using the available secure payment gateways (credit/debit cards and other enabled methods).
- Once the payment is confirmed, the Client will receive the digital ticket and the purchase confirmation by email.
9 Final Considerations
- The Client is responsible for verifying that the details on the ticket confirmation (names, dates, documents, etc.) are correct before making the purchase.
- Machupicchu Terra S.R.L. and BusMachupicchuTicket are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by external factors, such as weather conditions, road blockages, strikes, government regulations, or other force majeure events.
- The purchase of bus tickets through BusMachupicchuTicket implies the express and full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
